Internship

Students are required to complete a 12 month rotational internship at UNPAZ’s affiliated Guido Valadares National Hospital in Dili, East Timor. During this period they will undergo rotations across various departments, including ward postings,
exposure to HDU and ICU settings, and work in rural health centers. This comprehensive training aims to provide practical, hands-on learning experiences.

Practical Skill Development

The clinical training includes rotations in departments such as emergency, critical care units, wards, and operation theaters. This hands-on experience allows students to work directly with patients and gain exposure to diagnostic services, interpreting results alongside clinical findings.
